Ok here is the background story and last my question will appear. Ok ive been into the whole seen since i was 14 i started making sites at 16 for 1 year but with the help of dreamweaver as i remember. Anyways i stopped and now im 21 and i want to learn to actually code a site my self. I made site and i own one now proxysociety.com but i felt that doing a slice and dice of a psd layout and using dreamweaver, and just using someones script by copy and paste got me no where, i actually want to know how to make the code my self without copying pasting codes from google and how it works. So i did just that i bought your book All in one html xhtml and css the latest version and i started learning and it actually worked to my surprise. Currently im on the css chapter and been updating my site maskedgamerz.com with what i have learnt. Now i want to know after i have finished this book which javascript, php and mysql are in where do i go from there?

Well, I'd first encourage you to keep doing what you're doing. There's plenty to learn in this monster book, and it may take you a few years to really master all of it. (It certainly took me longer to learn all this stuff.)

Learn to program well first. The language isn't as important as understanding how programming works. Once you've got that, we can look at different languages.

You might be interested in my upcoming book on game development in HTML5 and JavaScript. It will allow you to build games on web browsers and mobile devices for free!

Here's a quick preview.

Nice i actually might get that book after ive finished the current book got a long way to go lol, nearly up to book III.

I actually like the idea of it being mainly based on 2D Sprite-based games cause im into retro gaming and thats what i was aiming for when i meant i wanted to design games cause the best was the 8, 16 and 32 bit era :P of gaming. Good that its javascript cause i found that language most interesting as well and want to actually get into javascript in more detail in the future.

Thanks for the reply too, goodluck with your future works.
